EVP or electronic voice phenomena is best listened to with noise canceling headphones and the volume turned up all the way.  For more EVP recordings you can visit our main EVP Page.

EVP is highly suggestive.  So if you are listening to this page with others, let them hear the recording before letting them know your impression.  Do not listen to the recording more than five times.  Otherwise, your brain will try to turn the recording into something it may not be.  Listen to see if you hear a female or male voice.  Then try to pick a vowel out and so on.  If you have any training in speech pathology, you are leaps and bounds ahead already.

While stepping outside, to get something out of the car an old horn  honked twice from the garage. However, nobody was in the garage.  On attempts to debunk this event with Gary and the owner, we found out that not only are the keys required, but also a button pushed and the steering wheel turned to make contact.  So when I told the owner his truck honked at me, he told me it was impossible.

To document the event, Ann stated what occurred on the Olympus digital recorder.  This is the shorter, but unedited clip.  Listen for another person while Ann is speaking.

Further reduction of the clip and noise cancellation makes this other voice much more clearly heard, but his words are inaudible.
