An Interview with newbie Wendy: (We'll see what she thinks in a year)
1. What interested you in the paranormal?
I’ve had a few experiences throughout my life. At first I was frightened, but in the last few years, my curiosity has overcome my fear.
2. How are you treated in public when people realize that you are a paranormal investigator?
There's only one person in my life that just flat out doesn't believe, but he's respectful of my beliefs.
3. Have you ever had anybody react to what you do negatively?
I haven't done an investigation yet, but I haven't had any negative reactions when I've told people of my experiences and beliefs.
4. What do you do when you aren't investigating?
I do a lot of reading on the subject, but other than that, I spend too much time on MySpace and I do a lot of driving back and forth to Reno to spend time with my boyfriend.
5. What investigation sticks out in your mind?
Unfortunately, I haven't been on my first investigation yet. I'm a newbie.
6. Have you had any unexplained experiences?
I've had several. I haven't seen anything yet, but I've been touched 3 times that I'm sure of and there were a couple of other instances that I'm not positive about.
7. What skills do you bring to API?
Hmmm...what skills do I bring? I have a tendency to get very quiet and just soak in everything going on around me and I pick up on a lot of detail. I think that could be a big help on investigations.
8. What do you want to get out of your experience with API?
I guess I'm really just looking for solid proof and to learn as much as I can.
9. How does your family feel about your investigations?
I haven't really discussed my beliefs with my family.
10. Do you enjoy being an investigator?
I think I will once I've done a few investigations and become more comfortable.
11. Is there anything else you wish to add?
Bring on the hauntings!!
